Doug Kennedy heads up the Greener Cuddington campaign which seeks to raise awareness of, and understanding of environmental issues and action in the village. He is a Parish Councillor in Cuddington and wants to help keep the village in a good state, and to improve it through local actions to improve the environment. Activities include a nature watch, wildlife photography competition and thermal imaging peoples' houses to detect heat loss. Doug is also part of the Haddenham In Transition movement and involved in am itiative to promote renewable energy in the South Bucks area.

Doug Kennedy has played music and sung all of his life. He plays classical and folk guitar and entertains in pubs and restaurants as a sideline. You can find his guitar tutor books which bring a refreshing approach to learning the instrument for children and adults. He has also transcribed the music of Bert Jansch, Ralph McTell and Martin Carthy and turned out books of music and their own words about themselves.
