Doug Kennedy's Web Page and Blog

Welcome! What\'s here?

On offer here are some great photographs, books for guitarists, especially folk guitarists and some ideas on our global environment along with a sort of diary of environmental activism. **************************************************************** If you enjoy the photographs, contact Doug to get high quality prints or to have him take some pictures for you. ******************************************************** Doug's books are a great for learning to play guitar from scratch, or for working out how Bert Jansch, Martin Carthy and Ralph McTell play. ************************************************************************ If the book isn't enough, Doug teaches guitar in the Oxford/Aylesbury area of England. **************************************** Doug spends a lot of his time working to get his community to reduce their environmental footprint, and helping people to get greener. Books, Words and Music

Doug Kennedy has played music and sung all of his life. He plays classical and folk guitar and entertains in pubs and restaurants as a sideline. You can find his guitar tutor books which bring a refreshing approach to learning the instrument for children and adults. He has also transcribed the music of Bert Jansch, Ralph McTell and Martin Carthy and turned out books of music and their own words about themselves.
